Your first visit will involve a thorough assessment where we discuss your health history and concerns. We’ll perform a physical examination and may carry out some diagnostic tests. Based on this, we’ll develop a tailored treatment plan for you.

Many insurance plans cover chiropractic care, but coverage details can vary. We are registered with BUPA, Axa/PPP, Vitality, Exeter, PruHealth, Aviva and many more.  We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specifics. Those covered with Aviva will be require to pay for care and claim their back via receipt.  Insurance excess will need to be paid on account at your initial consultation.  We’re here to help with any paperwork you need.

In most cases, treatment does not begin at the first visit.

Your initial appointment is focused on understanding what’s going on. We’ll take a detailed history, carry out a physical examination and, where appropriate, perform or arrange any necessary diagnostic tests. This allows us to build a clear picture of your condition and decide on the most appropriate course of care.  From there we build a tailor-made treatment plan specifically for you.

We’ll talk you through our findings and discuss a personalised treatment plan at your Report of Findings appointment. This gives you time to understand your options, ask questions and give informed consent before any treatment begins.

However, if you’re experiencing an acute problem (rather than a long-standing condition) — for example pain that has started within the last day or two — we’ll always do our best to help where it’s safe and appropriate. This may include gentle care, advice, or guidance on how to manage your symptoms until your Report of Findings.

Our priority is to make sure any treatment is appropriate, safe and tailored specifically to you.
